LG / Formula 1™ Partnership

Singapore, April 17, 2006

LG Electronics (LG), a leader in consumer electronics and mobile communications, hosted the 2006 LG Pan Asian Family Festival, at Swissotel the Stamford, Singapore, to build stronger relations with local dealers and the community.

Featuring Lee Young Ae, Asia’s sweetheart and the star of Daejanggeum, the April 17th festival consisted of two parts: The LG Wishing Wall, an event promoting social welfare in Asia, and a press conference followed by an evening gala for journalists and major LG dealers. 150 journalists and 450 major LG product dealers from Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines and Thailand have been invited.

Lee Young Ae has been LG’s spokesmodel in Korea for many years. Her elegant and intellectual image symbolize LG’s premium, innovative products. Now as LG’s global ambassador, she involves herself in various marketing and community activities in Asia. Fun events, such as the Daejanggeum cooking competition and a road show featuring a Lee Young Ae look-a-like contest, are being organized by LG’s local offices across Asia.
